Works on 850nm wavelength through multiple mode fiber (or MM fiber).Multiple mode optic fibers are the fiber which is mostly used for short distance with maximum span of 600 meter. Maximum working area of this SFP is 550 meter and provide data transfer rate up to 1Gbps which is the best data transfer rate provided by any of the SFP till now.
